Little Bird Creative Strategies

Welcome to my dream! I love the art of storytelling and the foundation of this business, to help you tell your story. I believe in the unique power of storytelling and have a great love for a good story -- telling it or hearing it!
It is the way I communicate and provides and immediate connection point.

I learned storytelling from family experiences... over dinner, at family reunions, in the car, on the porch, at bedtime... my life is filled with stories, and they are powerful. They taught me lessons, broadened my imagination, and captivated me. Many times, they began with the phrase, "A little bird told me..." and it is a phrase I find myself using that was passed down from my Granny Miller.  This little phrase inspired Little Bird because of the great joy I find in sharing those stories as a way to form relationships, strengthen connections, and COMMUNICATE.

I use my love for and gift of storytelling as a tool in an ever-changing business world where business messages have to rise above the noise. Today’s technology allows businesses to tell their story through platforms that reach large audiences cost-effectively. I provide straightforward advice and will work with you on an individual basis to achieve results for your business. I ask that you provide me with the opportunity to help tell your story.

Best Advice from Mom
My mom handed out little gems of wisdom all the time. Here's what runs through my mind from her: Do the right thing, Think before you speak, Don't judge a book by its cover and Pick your battles. These pieces of advice are ones I refer back to consistently.

Best Advice from Dad
My dad died just before I turned 21, and I am happy to say that the advice I got from him back then is completely sound advice even today. He was a strong personality, vibrant, and bigger than life in many ways. Advice he gave me is the same advice I give my daughter, and that is Follow your heart, but stick to your guns. Another thing I remember is that he always said to surround yourself with great people.

Why Little Bird? Why Now?
The name Little Bird comes from something my Granny Miller used to say. She was five foot nothing but her words carried weight and she was the single biggest influence on my life. This is my way of honoring her and the other strong women in my family that came before, alongside, and after her.

What's your superpower?
Have you met me? Nonverbal communication!
